CCHS is a private practice that was established in January, 2000 by myself, Dorothy Gagnon. While studying for my Diploma in Human Services Counselling at Durham College, I revived a long standing interest in hypnosis. When I realized how well these two modalities worked together, I decided to become a Certified Hypnotist
Since then, I have seen some amazing results that clients have achieved. I have continued to take courses and attend seminars in all of these areas of interest for me. Some of those areas that I have studied and completed include:

In 2005 an affiliate practice was formed with Lauren
Lamont, CHt who was also practicing in Durham Region.
Lauren has recently re-located to Flinton and is taking a
short hiatus. Lauren is planning on opening her office in
the spring of 2012 and will be servicing the Belleville and
